Product description
Douglas Laing & Co., which was founded in 1949, was owned for over 40 years by brothers Fred and Stewart Laing. In 2013, the brothers split its assets and started their own business.
The Provenance series has remained in the Douglas Laing & Co. portfolio, now owned by Fred. Early 2015 saw a change in the visuals – while the previous presentation referred to the season, the current one emphasises the region in which the distillery is based. The Glenrothes shown here, distilled July 2009, spent over a decade in a refill hogshead cask no. DL 14021. The whisky was bottled in March 2020 without colouring and without chill filtration in an edition of 427 bottles.
