The Ultimate Whisky Company is a Dutch company based in Amersfoort.

Founded in 1994 by Han and Maurice van Wees, it initially specialised in miniature editions. Their whiskies are bottled in their natural colour, without chill filtration, either in cask strength or at 46% ABV. Since 1994, over 1,000 editions of whiskies have been released under the banner of "The Ultimate". The Auchentoshan presented here is a whisky distilled on 16 April 2013 and aged in an American oak bourbon barrel no. 3355 for over 9 years. The whisky was bottled at cask strength (60.1% ABV) on 13 October 2022 in an edition of 222 bottles.

Nose : slightly alcoholic, barley malt, vanilla, honey, milk fudge, bananas, cantaloupe, cherries, a touch of cinnamon, notes of hay and oak.

Taste : vanilla cream, honey, toffee, toast with mirabelle jam, banana cake, lemon jam, mocha, cinnamon, lemongrass and oak.

Finish: medium long, with notes of breakfast cereal, vanilla, caramel, citrus, lemon pepper and oak.
