Product description
DYC, or Destilerias y Crianza, is a company founded in 1959 by the “father of Spanish whisky”, Nicomedes Garcia Gomez.
In 1987, it was acquired by the Pedro Domecq Group and is now part of the Beam Suntory Group. The company offers single malt, blended and blended malt whiskies, all at very competitive prices. In 2017, DYC, the company tentatively entered the premium segment with a series of limited editions, Colección Maestros Destiladores, which included 12- and 15-year-old single malts. They were soon joined by the Doble Roble (Double Oak) presented here. This 8-year-old single malt underwent a double maturation process, but the company did not disclose details about the casks used in it. The whisky hit the market in 2020 in a limited edition of 12,000 bottles
