Product description
The “Artist Collective” series debuted in 2017 in the Parisian La Maison du Whisky range and is a complement to the prestigious “Artist” line.
While the latter is a collection of carefully selected single cask editions, the “Artist Collective” is in the small batch (or rather very small batch) category. Each edition catches the eye with a label featuring a work by a contemporary artist. The Glentauchers 2009 presented here is part of the sixth “Artist Collective” series, released in autumn 2022. This 13-year-old whisky was aged in two first-fill sherry butt casks and bottled at 48% abv in an edition of 1,719 bottles. The graphic design uses the work “Peinture Ideographique IV” by French minimalist Yanis Khannoussi.
