Product description
In 1998, Bacardi Ltd. acquired the rights to the Dewar's brand from Diageo.
It is still one of the most popular Scotch whiskies (#1 in the States); it closed 2021 with sales of 2.8 million cases. In recent years, Stephanie MacLeod, Bacardi's master blender, has put a lot of creativity and effort into developing a new, incredibly interesting offering, using a variety of barrel combinations for the final maturation. The Dewar's Double Agent 16 years old presented here debuted in 2022 at Travel Retail. The aged blend was divided into two batches, one finished in sherry casks, the other in Islay single malt casks; their marriage was the final phase of the blend.
