Product description
Camus is the fifth largest cognac house and the biggest family owned Cognac Company.
It was founded by Jean Baptiste Camus in 1863. Maison Camus is located in the Château du Plessis in the smallest growing cru of the region, Borderies, north of the city of Cognac. Since 2004 Cyril Camus, great-great grandson of Jean Baptiste, is the company president. Camus V.S.O.P. Intensely Aromatic is a blend of specially selected eaux-de-vie from Borderies cru. The wines are distilled on the lees using technique called “Intensity” where the heads that are rich in esters are selected and mixed with a middle cut, rather than being redistilled. The Cognac scored Double Gold at the 2019 International Wine & Spirits Competition.
