Product description
In late 2020, Douglas Laing & Co. once again expanded its popular Old Particular series, this time with The Midnight Series.
It consists of single malts aged in sherry casks and bottled in single cask. The label with a slumbering moon clearly suggests evening, contemplative sipping of these whiskies. The Tamdhu presented here, distilled in May 2014, spent over eight years in a sherry hogshead cask no. DL 16342, and was bottled at cask strength (61.3% abv) and without chill filtration in October 2022 in an edition of 294 bottles. Tamdhu Distillery is based in Speyside and equipped with three pairs of stills produces around 3 million litres of distillate per year, using 75% of its potential.
