- King George V whiskies are part of the Johnnie Walker Blue Label range.
Product description
King George V whisky reflects the style of blends produced during the time of King George V and is the pride of the Johnnie Walker Blue Label edition.
John Walker began his business in 1820, and a hundred years later, the whiskies bearing his name were among the most popular in the world. On January 1, 1934, George V granted John Walker & Sons a Royal Warrant. The whisky bearing his name is blended from distilleries operating during the monarch's reign (1910-1936), including Port Ellen, which closed in 1983. The limited edition presented here celebrates the Year of the Rabbit according to the lunar calendar (January 21, 2023 - February 9, 2024). The graphic design was created by a young artist from Shanghai, Angel Chen; her vision of jumping rabbits perfectly reflects Johnnie Walker's motto - "Keep Walking".
