Product description
Aberfeldy Distillery is based in the southern Highlands, in the village with which it shares its name.
Built by John Dewar & Sons in the late 19th century, it now belongs to Bacardi Ltd and produces around 3.4 million liters of distillate per year, most of which goes into Dewar's blends. The Aberfeldy Red Wine Cask Collection by Stephanie MacLeod, a master blender at Bacardi, debuted in 2019 with the 15-year-old Pomerol Casks Finish (Mrs. Macleod is also reportedly a wine connoisseur). Late 2022 brought the Aberfeldy 15-year-old presented here, aged in various refill barrels and finished in Californian Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from a producer in the Napa Valley.
