Product description
For every whisky lover, Samaroli is synonymous with the highest quality and beauty.
Silvano Samaroli began his career in the whisky market in 1968 and immediately focused on single cask editions. In 2008, Samaroli left the management of the company in the hands of Antonio Bleve, but he himself played an active role until his death in February 2017. The Samaroli brand remains a market leader, highly valued by collectors, and the casks are currently selected by Antonio Bleve and Francesco Saverio Binetti. The Bruichladdich presented here is a personal selection of Master Samaroli. Distilled in 1964, the whisky spent over three decades in a #3611 sherry cask and was bottled at 43% abv in 1996 in an edition of 420 bottles.
In 1964, Bruichladdich Distillery was owned by whisky brokers AB Grant & Co. At the time, it was a small, single-pot still distillery producing small quantities of excellent whisky; its official distributor in Italy was Moon Import, owned by Pepi Mongiardino, a private friend of Silvano Samaroli.
