Product description
Dalmore 21 years debuted at the end of the last century.
It was quite an unusual whisky for this distillery – aged in bourbon barrels and devoid of the sherry tones so characteristic of Dalmore. In 2007, it disappeared from the offer, soon replaced by the 18-year-old version. Dalmore 21 years old returned in 2015, this time in its classic incarnation, but it did not appear in the basic offer. It was not until the 2022 edition that the announcement of its inclusion in "The Dalmore Principal Collection" was made. After the basic maturation in American oak barrels, the whisky goes for many years to barrels previously used in the solera system to produce 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso sherry. The edition consisted of 8,000 bottles.
