Product description
Glenfiddich’s luxurious three-part The Time Re;Imagined series is set to launch in summer 2022.
Its message is the time factor in whisky production. To quote Brian Kinsman: “Both mother nature and time have a huge impact on the final profile of a whisky… Glenfiddich’s Time Re:Imagined highlights the role of these two elements in the magical transformation of the distillate into a heavenly elixir.” Cumulative Time defines Glenfiddich 40 years old. This whisky is created through a process known as “remnant vatting,” where the blender leaves a small batch of whisky used in a given release, then blends it with the contents of the casks intended for the next batch. The whisky is presented in a crystal decanter resting in an artistic, jesmonite case. (Official tasting note.)
Nose : Rich and complex, layers of dried fruit, dark chocolate, freshly roasted coffee and black cherries. The second wave carries a delicate waft of smoke, notes of polished leather and cloves.
Taste: silky delicate and rich, inspired by memories of past editions. At first, a lot of dried fruit, Christmas fruitcake, dates, raisins and stewed apples; after a while, a subtle bitterness of oak, dark chocolate and a trace of peat.
Finish: incredibly long and rich, memorable for eternity.
