Product description
Penderyn single malt debuted in 2004 and was met with enthusiastic reception.
In 2013-2014, the distillery underwent a costly £1 million expansion, increasing its production capacity from 90,000 to 300,000 litres per year. In May 2021, the owners opened a sister distillery in Llandudno, North Wales. Penderyn Rich Oak joined the core range in October 2018, but had previously been released twice in single cask and small batch editions. Here we present the second of these, released in 2017 and awarded a gold medal at the World Whisky Masters. The whisky was aged in reclaimed European oak wine barrels, and the edition consisted of 1,349 bottles.
