Product description
The history of Dictador rum begins in 1751, when Severo Arango Ferro arrived in Cartagena de Indias to control and strengthen trade between Spain and its overseas colony.
Thanks to his knowledge and strength, he quickly gained the nickname Dictador. Charmed by the taste and elegance of the rum he produced, he became the largest producer and seller of this drink. 160 years later, in 1913, Dictador's descendant founded the Destileria Columbiana company, becoming the best rum producer in the Caribbean region after many years. The third generation of the Arango family created the Dictador Europe project, starting the international expansion of this brand.
Dictador Aurum is an extraordinary rum, produced on the basis of noble syrup from the juice of the first pressing of sugar cane. This rum is distilled in a traditional copper still, then matured in American oak barrels from bourbon. Finally, the best barrels from a given vintage are selected by the master blender Dictador to create this extraordinary composition. Awarded with gold medals at competitions in Miami, Orlando and Las Vegas.
