Product description
Benromach is a small distillery based in Speyside, which, following expansion completed in 2016, has the capacity to produce 700,000 litres of distillate per year.
Since 1993, it has been owned by Gordon & MacPhail, which has offered many interesting editions over the past dozen or so years, including the first organic single malt in 2006. Benromach Organic is certified by the UK Soil Association, which means that it meets the agency's stringent requirements for barley, yeast, water source, distillation process, maturation in so-called "virgin casks" and bottling. Most recently, Benromach Organic has been part of the "Contrasts" series, which consists of non-standard versions of this whisky. The 2012 distillation presented here hit the market in 2021.
