In 2016, the year of its 10th anniversary, Kavalan Distillery completed an investment that increased the number of stills to 20.

And the distillation potential is almost 10 million liters of alcohol per year, which places it in the top ten largest malt distilleries in the world. Single malt Kavalan debuted in 2008 and achieved incredible success, winning about 200 medals and awards to this day; the popularity of the local whisky is also evidenced by the number of visitors, over a million guests visit every year. Kavalan Triple Sherry hit the market in October 2021. It is a blend of distillates aged in barrels of three types of sherry - Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel. Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask is an "unrefusable proposition" for lovers of "sherry cask matured whisky".

Nose: rich, fruity, red apples, oranges, raspberries, cherries, barley malt, mocha, hazelnuts, cinnamon and a hint of tobacco.

Palate: raisins and sultanas, black cherries, dried apricots and figs, milk chocolate, cinnamon buns, candied ginger and a hint of oak.

Finish : medium long, with notes of milk chocolate, caramel, cinnamon, red berries, tobacco and oak.
