Product description
Douglas Laing & Co. is one of the leaders in the blended malt category.
Autumn 2014 saw the launch of Timorous Beastie, a small batch release made exclusively from single malts from the Highlands, including Blair Athol, Dalmore, Glengoyne and Glen Garioch. According to Fred Laing, “it is the epitome of the Highlands”, and its name refers to the poem To a Mouse by Scottish bard Robert Burns, written after he destroyed a mouse nest on his farm. Timorous Beastie is bottled at 46.8% abv, unchill-filtered, and its label is decorated with a drawing of a grey field mouse.
