Product description
In April 2018, renowned independent whisky publisher Gordon & MacPhail, which has been operating since 1895, announced it would be reducing its “release series” from fourteen to five.
Among the five selected were the ‘Distillery Labels’, a historic series originally consisting of single malts licensed to Gordon & MacPhail. The Ardmore on display here was distilled in 2000, aged in refill sherry hogshead casks and bottled at 46% abv in 2021. Thanks to its long-standing partnership with distilleries, G&M typically purchases fresh spirit and matures it in its own casks at its warehouses in Elgin.
