Product description
The Epicurean, representing the Lowlands region in Douglas Laing & Co.'s Remarkable Regional Malts Collection
It is dedicated to a charismatic gentleman from Glasgow, the soul of the 1930s high society, famous for his dislike of empty glasses and love of fun. The main role in the "Epicurean formula" is played by single malts Auchentoshan and Glenkinchie, and this whisky made its debut in 2016. The standard edition hits the market with a strength of 46.2% abv, but two years later we received the Glasgow Edition, or "Epicurean" in the single cask version. The latest Glasgow Edition presented here, limited to 3,000 bottles, comes from 2022. All whiskies from the Douglas Laing & Co. portfolio are bottled with a natural color and without chill filtration.
Aroma: fruity, slightly floral, barley malt, pears, green apples, lemons, vanilla, brown sugar, white pepper, traces of damp straw and hay.

Finish : medium long, malty, with notes of breakfast cereal, vanilla, buttered toast, raspberry jam, ginger and hay.
