Breckenridge Distillery is the project of Bryan Nolt, a radiologist who invested his life savings and even had to sell his home to keep the distillery in operation.

The plant is located at an altitude of 2,926 meters above sea level and is probably the highest distilling facility in the world. Notl's passion has always been whiskey and it is the main product of Breckenridge; the company also produces rum, vodka, liqueurs and gin. The formula of the latter includes 11 botanicals (the company does not disclose them), which are macerated in grain alcohol and then distilled in a copper still. Breckenridge uses local water from the Rocky Mountains for production, which its owner considers the key to the success of his drinks.

Breckenridge Colorado Gin is described by its producer as a "Fragrant (i.e. fragrant) American style gin". In its bouquet we discover quite intense notes of juniper and citrus as well as coriander, cardamom and black pepper. It tastes great with premium tonic and lime; we recommend using it in a Dry Martini.
