Product description
Glen Moray Distillery began operations in 1897 in buildings previously belonging to the Elgin West Brewery.
In 1923, it was taken over by Macdonald & Muir, the owner of Glenmorangie, and the last change of ownership took place in 2008, when the distillery was acquired by the French La Martiniquaise, the second (after Pernod Ricard) producer of alcoholic beverages in this country. The expansion of the distillery completed in 2016 increased its production capacity to 5.7 million liters of distillate per year. The Glen Moray 14 years old presented here was released by the organizers of the Silesian Whisky Fest, Katowice 2022. The whisky distilled in 2007 spent 14 years in a bourbon barrel no. 5789 and was bottled at a cask strength of 51.1% abv. The edition consisted of 100 bottles.
