Product description
Whiskey The Irishman, created by Bernard and Rosemary Walsh, debuted in 2008 (original title was Hot Irishman).
In 2013, the company announced the construction of its own distillery in Royal Oak, County Carlow, in cooperation with the Italian company Illva Saronno. After five years, the partners went their separate ways and the distillery remained in the hands of the Italians, but in the autumn of 2021 Walsh sold the company to ABG (Amber Beverage Group), a producer and global distributor of alcoholic beverages. The 12-year-old single malt presented here debuted in September 2013, composed of distillates aged exclusively in bourbon barrels, and has been released in annual limited editions since then. From February 2022, Irishman whiskey has been released in a new, more attractive presentation.
