Product description
Tomintoul Distillery is located in Speyside, in the parish of Glenlivet, and shares its name with the nearby village, the highest settlement in the Scottish Highlands.
The distillery was founded in 1964 by two Glasgow whisky wholesalers, Hay & MacLeod and W. & S. Strong. Their merger with Whyte & Mackay in the early 1970s saw Tomintoul whisky become a key component of Whyte & Mackay blends. The last transfer of ownership took place in 2000 when it was taken over by Angus Dundee Distillers. Tomintoul Tundra is part of the company's Travel Retail offering. The whisky has been aged in bourbon casks and bottled at 40% abv with no age statement.
