Product description
The Speyside, a small distillery built by George Christie, began operation in 1990.
The plant is equipped with one pair of stills and can produce 600 thousand liters of distillate per year. Since 2012, the distillery has belonged to the private company Harvey's of Edinburgh, which has made Asian countries the main market for local whisky. Spey Chairman's Choice is composed of distillates aged in barrels of American and European oak and bottled without an age statement. The name of the whisky refers to the tradition started by John Harvey (then the company's president) in 1878, who before Christmas selected the best barrels of whisky for the family.
