Product description
The Connoisseurs Choice series is the brainchild of George Urquhart, a second-generation member of the family who owned Gordon & MacPhail and a great whisky visionary.
Since 1968, the series has featured nearly 100 distilleries, presenting over 2,000 editions. In 2018, the company redesigned Connoisseurs Choice with a more contemporary, elegant look and added cask strength and wood finishes. The Highland Park featured here, distilled in 1989, spent over three decades in a refilled butt cask no. 10015, and was bottled at cask strength (51.9% abv) without chill filtration on December 13, 2021 as batch #22/004 in an edition of 347 bottles. (Producer’s note.)
