Product description
Teaninich Distillery is based in Ross-shire in the northern Highlands.
It was built in 1817 by Captain Hugh Munro on his own Teaninich Estate. In 1933, the distillery became the property of DCL and is now owned by Diageo. For years, Teaninich has been featured in popular blends, such as Johnnie Walker, Dimple and VAT 69, and as a single malt it has been offered in the Flora & Fauna and Rare Malts series. The Teaninich presented here is a proposal from Gordon & MacPhail in the popular Connoisseurs Choice series. Distilled in December 1991, the whisky spent around 15 years in refill sherry casks and was bottled at 46% abv in April 2006.
