Two Worlds Whiskey Co. is a brainchild of Ashley Donahey, former officer of the U.S. Department of State and later brand ambassador of La Maison du Whisky.
Two Worlds Whiskey is the first American whiskey crafted exclusively for France. Named to honor Marquis de la Fayette, the hero of two worlds, the company celebrates the historic French American alliance. The first edition of Two Worlds, a small batch whiskey of just 11 barrels, was launched in April 2020. “It features 14 years old straight bourbon balanced with a delicate 4 years old straight bourbon and rounded out with a creamy 5 years old straight bourbon”. Two Worlds La Victoire was bottled at natural strength of 54.7 abv with an outrun of 2107 bottles.
Nose: caramel, popcorn, salted butter, vanilla custard, apricots, pears, oranges, mocha, nutmeg, cinnamon, dash of white pepper and toasted oak.
Palate: vanilla, almond croissant, caramel, toffee, pears in syrup, orange peel, plums, dark chocolate, nutmeg, clove, cinnamon and oak.
Finish: fairly long, with notes of vanilla, cinnamon buns, candied fruits, sugared nuts, clove and oak.
