- Douglas Laing & Co., an independent bottling company, used to be run by two Laing brothers, Fred and Stewart.
Product description
Douglas Laing & Co. was owned for over 40 years by brothers Fred and Stewart Laing.
In 2013, the brothers divided its assets and went into business for themselves. The Provenance series remained in the Douglas Laing & Co. portfolio, now owned by Fred. Early 2015 brought a change in the graphic design – while the previous presentation referred to the season, the current one emphasizes the region in which the distillery is based. The Linkwood presented here, distilled September 2013, spent over 8 years in a refill hogshead cask no. DL 15429. Bottled in November 2021 without added coloring and without chill filtration in an edition of 321 bottles.
