Craigellachie 8-year-old (D.2011, B.2020) Provenance / 46%/ 0.7l
- Douglas Laing & Co., an independent bottling company, used to be run by two Laing brothers, Fred and Stewart.
Product description
Douglas Laing & Co. was owned for over 40 years by brothers Fred and Stewart Laing. In 2013, the brothers split its assets and started their own business.
The Provenance series has remained in the Douglas Laing & Co. portfolio, now owned by Fred. Early 2015 brought a change in design – while the previous presentation referred to the season, the current one emphasises the region in which the distillery is based. The Craigellachie presented here, distilled May 2011, spent over 8 years in a refill bourbon cask no. DL 13983. Bottled in March 2020 without added colouring and without chill filtration in an edition of 319 bottles.
