Product description
Old Hickory Distillery was founded in 1868 in Kentucky by John Robb.
In 1896, the plant was moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee, where it produced whiskey until 1910, when the state introduced prohibition. After its repeal, the brand was included in the \ portfolio of Continental Distilling Corporation, but disappeared from the market shortly after the end of the war. It did not return to the market until 2011, this time in the offer of RS Lipman, a company based in Nashville, Tennessee. Old Hickory Blended Bourbon is a blend of bourbon aged for four years (89%) and corn whiskey aged for two years (11%). Both whiskeys come from MGP Indiana. The Old Hickory brand is a nod to former president (and Tennessee distiller) Andrew Jackson, whose photograph appears on the label.
