Product description
Operating since 2012, Eden Mill is Scotland’s first combined brewery and distillery, producing whisky, gin and beer.
The company is based in St Andrews, a famous golf resort, not far from where the Haig family’s Seggie Distillery operated between 1810 and 1860. Eden Mill is equipped with three Portuguese copper stills and has a capacity of 80,000 litres of distillate per year. St Andrews Eden Mill Golf Gin was launched in 2018, inspired by Scottish golf courses (golf is Scotland’s national sport). It is also a tribute to St Andrews’ rich history. The gin is based around botanicals found in the areas surrounding the aforementioned facilities, particularly the coast of Scotland. Key ingredients include local seaweed, broom flowers from Edinburgh’s Braid Hills, Scottish heather and lavender, juniper berries, angelica root, lemongrass and coriander seed.
Eden Mill St Andrews Golf gin has an intensely floral palette, dominated by notes of juniper, lavender, wildflowers and pine needles, "seasoned" with a pinch of salt and pepper. We recommend serving with Fentimans tonic with a few blackberries and a sprig of mint.
