Product description
Premier Barrel Selection from the Douglas Laing & Co. portfolio is one of the most impressively packaged whisky lines.
It is presented in old-fashioned stoneware decanters, always accompanied by a short stanza referring to the whisky in question, expressed using alliteration. All the whiskies in the Premier Barrel range are bottled naturally and without chill filtration, at 46% abv. The Fettercairn 8 year old presented here is a whisky matured in a refill hogshead cask. Its contents amount to 405 bottles (or rather stoneware). Fettercairn Distillery is based in the Eastern Highlands, and the single malt there is a key component in Whyte & Mackay blends.
