Product description
Premier Barrel Selection from the Douglas Laing & Co. portfolio is one of the most impressively packaged whisky lines.
It comes to market in old-fashioned stoneware decanters, always accompanied by a short stanza referring to the specific whisky and expressed using alliteration. All whiskies in the Premier Barrel series are bottled with natural color and without chill filtration at 46% abv. The Caol Ila 8 years old presented here is a single cask edition from 2021 limited to 364 bottles (or rather stoneware). The Caol Ila Distillery, owned by Diageo, the largest distillery on the Isle of Islay, is equipped with three pairs of stills and produces 6.5 million liters of distillate per year.
