Product description
The Connoisseurs Choice series is the brainchild of George Urquhart, a second-generation member of the family who owned Gordon & MacPhail and a great whisky visionary.
Since 1968, the series has featured nearly 100 distilleries, presenting nearly 2,000 editions. In 2018, the company redesigned Connoisseurs Choice, giving it a more contemporary, elegant look, and also included cask strength and wood finishes. Distilled in 1988, the Tomatin presented here spent more than three decades in a refilled hogshead cask no. 6655 (American oak), and was bottled at cask strength (57.3% abv) as a 20/008 batch in 2020 in an edition of 173 bottles.
