Product description
The history of Dictador rum begins in 1751, when Severo Arango Ferro arrived in Cartagena de Indias to control and strengthen trade between Spain and its overseas colony.
Thanks to his knowledge and strength, he quickly earned the nickname Dictador. Enchanted by the taste and elegance of the rum he produced, he became the largest producer and seller of this drink. 160 years later, in 1913, Dictador's descendant founded Destileria Columbiana, becoming the best rum producer in the Caribbean region after many years. The third generation of the Arango family created the Dictador Europe project, starting the international expansion of this brand. Dictador XO Insolent is made from fermented cane sugar and honey, then distilled in a modern steel still. It matures in used oak barrels from Jerez and Porto, which are occasionally caramelized inside to extract sweeter flavors from the barrel. Thanks to carefully selected barrels from old vineyards, using the highest level of technology and using the Solera system, the master blender uses all his skills to create the most exquisite rum blends, which are then bottled at the highest level after approval. Dictador XO Insolent is a rum with a deep, noble mahogany color. In the mouth it is extremely smooth, exquisite in taste, starting with fudge, intense vanilla, caramel and Colombian coffee, with a long finish.
Aroma: pure honey, vanilla, toffee, mature oak and caramel
