Product description
The Boston Bakers Whiskey is a tribute to William T. Compston II, who came from a family of Irish emigrants and developed a chain of bakeries in Boston in the 1950s. Privately, he was a great lover of Irish whiskey.
The brand is owned by The Bloomsbury Club UK, whose founder is a distant cousin of Compston. The whiskey itself is a blend of single malt whiskeys finished in stout and sherry casks, bourbon casks and single grain whiskey from the Great Northern Distillery in Dundalk. In 2021, it won a gold medal at the Irish Masters.
