Château du Breuil is, above all, a renowned calvados producer, a company with a long tradition located in Normandy, France.

For some time now, however, in addition to producing calvados, the company has also been involved in obtaining, maturing and bottling rum. These spirits, under the name Rum Explorer, are bottled in France and partially matured on the estate, the centerpiece of which is a historic château.

Rum Explorer Guyana is a distillate from the only distillery currently operating in Guyana, Demerara Distillers. It is a molasses-based spirit, distilled in pot stills. It is a blend of rums matured in oak barrels for 2 and 5 years, and after blending, this rum was placed in oloroso sherry barrels for another 7 months.

Aroma : Sweet, fruity, dried fruits, red fruits, blackberries, cherries, candied fruits.

Taste: Elegant and complex, notes of red fruits, cherries, dried fruits, a hint of smoke.

Finish : Long, notes of oak and smoke.
