Hendrick's Neptunia Gin / 43.4% / 0.7l

Hendrick's gin is the creation of two master distillers from Wm Grant & Sons – Lesley Gracie and David Stewart, who have been responsible for Balvenie and Glenfiddich single malts for decades.

Its formula includes 12 botanicals: juniper, orange and lemon peel, orris root and angelica, elderberry, cubeb pepper, grains of paradise, yarrow, chamomile, cumin, cucumber and rose petals, and distillation takes place at Wm Grant & Sons' Girvan Distillery. Mrs. Gracie's latest creation (spring 2022) is Neptunia Gin, presented here. Its base is the basic Hendrick's formula enriched with botanicals from the local coast, such as seaside thyme and seaweed (Girvan Distillery is located in Ayrshire, on the west coast of Scotland). Neptunia Gin is presented in the brand's characteristic "pharmacy" bottle, this time with a label in the color of the sea.

Neptunia Gin combines aromas of citrus, herbs and juniper with a delicate breath of the ocean; citrus and juniper return to the palette accompanied by zesty orange, thyme and seaweed salad. We recommend serving only with ice cubes, possibly with lemon sparkling water or premium tonic and a slice of cucumber.
