Product description
Built in 1898, the Knockando Distillery is now owned by Diageo and, equipped with two pairs of stills, can produce 1.4 million litres of distillate per year.
The name is a transcription of the Gaelic “Cnoc an dhu,” which translates to “little black hill.” Knockando is one of the key ingredients in the original J&B blend formula developed in the 1930s, making it an extremely rare release from independent publishers. This Signatory Vintage edition from The Un-chillfiltered Collection was distilled on November 14, 2011, aged in two re-charred hogsheads (306232 and 306248) for over 10 years before being bottled at 46% abv on January 6, 2022.
