Product description
The Single Cask Ltd. was founded in 2010 by Ben Curtis (initially operating as Malt Vault Company).
It has offices in London and Singapore, and in addition to bottling whisky, it has a bar and a retail store. The company offers only single cask whisky, bottled in its natural colour, at cask strength and without chill filtration. The Craigellachie shown here, distilled on 23 January 2009, spent 10 years in a bourbon hogshead cask (no. 301035) and bottled on 16 April 2019 in an edition of 308 bottles. The Craigellachie Distillery (founded in 1891) is based in Speyside. Since 1998, the distillery has been owned by John Dewar & Sons, a subsidiary of Bacardi Ltd, and, equipped with two pairs of stills, produces over 4 million litres of distillate per year.
