Product description
Glenrothes is a large distillery in Speyside capable of producing 5.6 million litres of alcohol per year.
From 2010 to 2017, the distillery was owned by the Edrington Group, while the Glenrothes brand belonged to Berry Bros & Rudd. In 2017, the brand returned to Edrington, and the Berry Bros. chairman only admitted that the offer he received was one of those "unrefutable". Glenrothes enjoys great respect from master blenders, and independent publishers are also eager to include it in their offers. The whisky presented here, distilled in 2007, spent 11 years in a sherry butt, and was bottled at 47.9% abv in the Malt Legends series in 2018 for the German market. Unfortunately, we do not have any information about "Malt Legends".
