Jura 29-year-old The Single Malts of Scotland / 42.9%/0.7l
Product description
The Single Malts of Scotland, a series of whiskies from the Elixir Distillers portfolio, debuted in 2005.
The company was founded by brothers Sukhinder and Raj Singh, whose life passion is whisky. Their online store The Whisky Exchange has been operating since 1999 and now offers almost 8,000 spirits (in 2021, its new owner became the Pernod Ricard group). The company is also the publisher of the "Elements of Islay" series, which includes the Port Askaig brand. "The Single Malts of Scotland" are mainly whiskies bottled in single cask version, with natural color, cask strength and without chill filtration. The Jura presented here represents the "A Marriage of casks" line and contains whisky distilled in 1991-1992, aged in five bourbon barrels for almost three decades and bottled at cask strength (42.9% abv) in 2021.
