John Distilleries Ltd was established in 1992 and is currently one of the four major players in the Indian alcoholic beverages market.

Its founder was Paul P. John, the son of a wealthy grower, producer and distributor of alcoholic beverages. Currently, John Distilleries owns three distilleries and eighteen facilities blending and processing their own spirits. Today, under the Paul John brand, we find a full range of alcoholic beverages, from vodka and rums to whiskey and brandy. The John Paul Brandy XO presented here is a drink intended to compete with French cognacs and Armagnacs. Distilled 100% from locally grown grapes (Ugni Blanc and Bangalore Purple vines), it was aged in Limousin oak barrels for 8 to 10 years. This drink won a gold medal at the World Brandy Awards in 2021.

Aroma: raisins and sultanas, dried figs and apricots, vanilla, milk chocolate, cappuccino, a bouquet of wild flowers and a hint of pipe tobacco.

Flavor : vanilla cream, caramel, milk chocolate, honey almonds, marzipan, sweet bread, oranges, raisins, red berries and black tea.

Finish : medium long, with notes of vanilla, chocolate-coated raisins, praline, dried fruit, a pinch of pepper and oak.
