Product description
In 1850, the Russian Tsar Alexander II sent two brothers, Auguste-Christophe and Gustav Meukow from Silesia to France with a mission to secure supplies of cognac to the Tsar's court.
The brothers made several journeys, and then on August 1, 1862, they opened a sales office in the city of Cognac, AC Meukow & Co. Since 1979, the company has been part of the private company Compagnie de Guyenne, founded in 1969 by Michel Coste. Since 1993, Meukow cognacs have been presented in a unique "cat" bottle, decorated with the image of a panther and undoubtedly catching the eye of a potential buyer. The Meukow De Luxe presented here is a great introduction to the Meukow line of cognacs; a classic blend of eaux-de-vie from different growing regions, aged for two to five years.
