Product description
The history of Dictador rum begins in 1751, when Severo Arango Ferro arrived in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, to control and strengthen trade between Spain and its overseas colony.
Thanks to his knowledge and strength, he quickly gained the nickname Dictador. Charmed by the taste and elegance of the rum he produced, he became the largest producer and seller of this drink. 160 years later, in 1913, Dictador's descendant founded the Destileria Columbiana company, becoming the best rum producer in the Caribbean region after many years. The third generation of the Arango family created the Dictador Europe project, starting the international expansion of this brand.
The Jerarquía series (Spanish for hierarchy) is a collection of old and rare barrels under the care of the Parra family, masters of Colombian rum. Each barrel offers a unique profile.
