Product description
The Connoisseurs Choice series debuted in 1968 in the Gordon & MacPhail offering.
It was created by George Urquhart, a second-generation family owner and a great whisky visionary at a time when most Scottish malt distilleries were producing for blenders, not even considering promoting their whiskies as single malts. Today, over half a century later, the Connoisseur’s Choice competes successfully in the single malt market and has its devoted fans. The Royal Brackla presented here, distilled in June 1991, just after production resumed after a six-year break, spent over 15 years in refill sherry casks and was bottled at 46% abv in November 2006.
