The Single Cask Ltd. was founded in 2010 by Ben Curtis (initially operating as Malt Vault Company).
With offices in London and Singapore, it also has a bar and retail store, and offers only single cask whiskies, bottled at natural colour, cask strength and unchill-filtered. The Ardmore featured here was distilled on 16 December 2009, finished in a red wine octave cask (no. 709249), and bottled on 18 February 2021 in an 82-bottle run. Based in the Scottish Highlands, Ardmore Distillery has four pairs of stills and can produce over 5 million litres of spirit per year. The single malt is a key component of Teacher's blends.
