In 1936, it became the property of the Canadian corporation Hiram Walker & Sons, and production was undertaken by the Canadian company's subsidiary, George Ballantine & Sons. Since then, Miltonduff has been the heart of Ballantine's blends, which consume almost the entire production and drastically reduce the supply of this single malt whisky. The whisky presented here, distilled on July 25, 2008, spent 13 years in a first-fill bourbon cask no. 700988. Bottled on August 9, 2021 at cask strength (57.3% abv) and without chill filtration by The Single Cask Ltd in an edition of 212 bottles.
