The Egans are an Irish family with a long tradition in the whiskey industry. P&H Egan Limited was founded in 1852 and over the next century has grown into a multi-industry enterprise.
Whiskey occupied a special place in the company's activities, P&H Egan operated as a bottler (Jameson and Paddy) and as a broker and publisher of its own brand, Egan's Liqueur Irish Whiskey. Egan's Conviction is composed of malt and grain distillates aged for at least 10 years in bourbon barrels, while in the finishing process XO cognac barrels were used.
