The Neisson brand is a rum from Martinique, produced on a sugar cane plantation established in 1932 and run for generations by the founding family.
The sugar cane is grown organically there, and the yeast used for fermentation comes from its own strain, bred on site. The sugar cane juice is pressed on the day of harvest, and the pure cane juice ferments for 48 hours. Distillation takes place in a copper column still. Neisson rums are agricole rums, made exclusively from fresh sugar cane juice. There is a wide range on the market, including the edition offered here
Rum Neisson Profil 107 Bio is a spirit based on fresh sugar cane juice, distilled in a column still, produced in accordance with rigorous ecological standards, aged for a year in American bourbon oak barrels.
Aroma : Notes of sugar cane, butter, yogurt, dried fruit, caramel, floral accents, spices.
Taste : Balanced, notes of sugar cane, herbal, tobacco, nuts, oak, spices.
Finish: Medium long, herbal and tobacco notes.
